I’ve been juicing a lot more lately, mostly for weight loss. As I was flipping through one of my favorite Juicing books, Juicing Recipes From Fitlife.TV Star Drew Canole For Vitality and Health, I noticed a recipe that is recommended for weight loss and I decided to give it a try. It’s called the Green Juices Recipe Energizer. I tried it a few times and it really does work. It’s delicious, it tastes like a Mean Green Juice with pizazz.
The day after I drink this I feel like my problem areas have slimmed down and the number on the scale is lower. It’s made with fennel, which tastes a bit like licorice. Fennel is an interesting veggie and I’ve never come across it until I needed for this recipe, I hear that its also great roasted. All of the other ingredients are the usual suspects you would find in a green juice. I just chop everything up before I put it through my Big Boss Juicer (A Few Alternatives). Half a cucumber (peeled)
Half a lemon (peeled)
half a cup of Kale
Half a cup of spinach
2-3 Celery stalks
quarter of a fennel bulb
one inch of Ginger (sliced)
quarter head of romaine lettuce
